Our Story
My name is Lisa Lipscomb, although most people know me by my brand name, LIPSLE.
My passion for baking began back home in Huntsville, Alabama, while standing beside my mother in her kitchen. As a teenager, I watched her prepare delicious cakes and learned how much happiness a homemade dessert could bring to a family.
When it came to creating mouth-watering desserts from scratch, my Aunt Georgia Humphrey was the true legend. I watched her closely, followed her example, and absorbed every lesson she shared.
After getting married and starting a family of my own, the kitchen became my favorite place. My husband and children loved banana pudding, so I wanted to create a recipe that brought them comfort and joy.
A dear friend, Ja Dawson, shared her banana pudding recipe with me, and it quickly became a family favorite.
Before long, my banana pudding became the required dish at every Fourth of July cookout, Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas gathering, and family celebration. If I did not bring the banana pudding, my family was not having it!
